ISO is a photography magazine club in the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University that publishes professionally produced print bound and electronic issues of student photography and writing twice a year. The aim of the club is to allow student photographers a place to showcase their work and publish articles on visual culture. The project was initiated in 2008 by students in the Department of Photography and Imaging and the Gallatin School of Individualized Study and is now accepting submissions for its sixth issue. ISO is funded by the Tisch Undergraduate Student Council, Dean’s Profunds, the Department of Photography & Imaging, and various individual donors. ISO Magazine received the University President's Service and founding Editor-in-Chief Michael George accepted the award at a ceremony on April 27, 2011. All NYU students are invited to contribute.
